The annual DC Bike Ride is back! You might ride often, but how many of those rides are on car-free streets? This year’s longer and improved course starts in West Potomac Park, rides past some of DC’s most iconic sights and finishes in front of the U.S. Capitol. This is the best way to experience our city.

  • LONGER & IMPROVED COURSE – 20 scenic miles starting in West Potomac Park, riding past some of D.C.’s most iconic sights and finishing on Pennsylvania Avenue in the shadow of the U.S. Capitol*
  • MORE ENTERTAINMENT – Multiple stage performances at the Finish Festival, plus fun entertainment acts on the course
  • KIDS RIDE FREE – Kids, ages 3-7, or “Ride-Alongs,” are FREE.

Come together for the pure joy of biking in the city you love. Proceeds from DC Bike Ride benefit the Washington Area Bike Association and community organizing for Vision Zero. Learn more

End your day of car-free, friend-filled streets at the DCBR finish line festival in front of the Capitol with great food, music and drinks! More information to come on DCBikeRide.com.

We can’t pull it off alone. This event needs many, many hands to make it a continued success! The DC Bike Ride is a significant fundraiser for WABA and we’d love your help to make it great! Volunteer here.
