The tour will focus on those that are most likely to boo scare us (historic notables) with a focus on the art that you will find on their last spot on this planet.

Congressional Cemetery is a 35 acre historic yet active burial ground located on Capitol Hill in Washington, DC.. , Congressional became the first truly national burial ground as Congress bought sites, buried noted civil servants, and funded the infrastructure.  It remained the choice burial site for notable civil servants from history until Arlington Cemetery took the title in the 1870s.

Take a walk through the cemetery with Shannon Mikush, Certified Master Guide in the Guild of Professional Tour Guides of Washington DC.  Hear the stories of the heros and scoundrels, laid to rest here,  that played important roles in history.

Walk through cenotaphs that honor many of the men of Congress who participated in the heated debates over slavery and states rights and led up to the Civil War.
